Description

The vases have been designed in the Louis XVI, or Neoclassical style. Their bodies are shaped from frosted glass which features enamelled decorations depicting flowers and leaves on branches with birds flying beside. Their rims are made from gilt brass, and they are both mounted with twin scrolling gilt brass handles, and set on with circular gilt brass bases. Each bears a mark to the underside for WMF, reading 'WMFM / gg'.
