Description

This stylish pair of chenets, also known as andirons or firedogs, have been beautifully cast and gilded in the Louis XVI style. Featuring Neoclassical style motifs all over, they are elegant pieces made for the luxury home and will look resplendent beside a grand fireplace.

Each piece is designed as a balustrade with pedestals on either side. The pedestals are of differing sizes: the larger exterior pedestal of each pair is surmounted by a lidded urn with a flame finial, and is decorated with laurel festoons and lions' heads, while the smaller interior pedestal is surmounted by a small lidded urn.
