Crafted from green malachite and golden ormolu, these elegant French guéridons (circular tables) would suit either a traditional or modern style interior.
Each guéridon (or circular side table) stands on three curved ormolu legs linked by an openwork triangular stretcher and set on paw feet. About halfway up, the legs support circular malachite shelves which are set within ormolu frames. The legs continue upwards and terminate in elegant scrolls. They support circular malachite tops encircled by ormolu bands.
These guéridons would serve as graceful display stands for works of sculpture or decorative art, such as vases. Equally, they will look superb topped by lamps or candelabra.
