Each of this pair of vases stand on four shell motif ormolu feet, which are mounted to circular bases. The main malachite bodies of the vases are attached to the base on waisted ormolu mounts decorated with egg and dart. The bodies of the vases take bell-form, and each have twin ormolu scrolling handles fronted by a Grotesque head with further floral, shell and female head decorations in ormolu. The vases are surmounted with a bud-like ormolu finial.
