Description

The vases have four rectangular tapering sides, each of which is decorated on gilt ground and has gilt borders to the top and bottom with geometric patterns. The two opposing larger panels on each vase depict rural scenes featuring birds and foliage, set on white ground. The smaller opposing panels are decorated with raised porcelain highlights on gilt ground, with a small panel depicting still life scenes on white ground incorporating flowers and vases.
