The vases are set on circular stands which are crafted from ebonised wood and set on four curved legs. They take an ovoid form and are mounted with twin handles in the form of dragons. At the base of the vases there are geometric decorations, and above, on the central part of the body of the vases, there are court scenes depicting figures wearing gilded robes, in a landscape setting. Atop each scene sits a gilded dragon. Both vases feature flaring necks which are, again, decorated with geometric patterns and have curving rims.
