The silvered bronze vases are of amphora form, with twin-handled, ovoid-bodies, set on slender stems. Their bases are decorated with scrolled foliage relief patterns, and their stems are fluted. The stem tops are ornamented with belts of relief foliate motifs. Above, the vase bodies feature classical style relief depictions of figures carrying water urns and freshly-caught fish in an outdoor setting. The shoulders of the vases are mounted with handles, which take the form of classical, half-length and semi-nude women, holding foliage swags. These long handles terminate in paw feet. The vase shoulders are decorated with a pattern of repeated palmettes, and the neck is ornamented with scrolled leaf designs.
