The guéridons (circular side tables) feature circular tops which are inset with red-veined black marble and edged with ormolu (gilt bronze). These are set on stepped mahogany wood friezes with ropework ormolu borders. Each top is supported on three ormolu legs, each of which is composed of a pair of bamboo-like shafts. The legs stand on splayed mahogany and ormolu feet. The legs are linked, just above the feet, by triform mahogany stretchers which are outlined with ormolu ropework bands.
