Description

Each of the two vases feature elongated malachite bodies of ovoid form. The vases are mounted to the front and back with an ormolu cameo motif with a bow hung with swags, and each feature twin ormolu handles of acanthus leaf form. The necks of the vases are formed of waisted and twisted ormolu mounts, which lead upwards to a malachite cover, surmounted with an ormolu pine cone finial. The vases are set are set on circular ormolu socles, which stand on a square ormolu plinth.
