These superb candelabra are inspired by classical design, with their lyre-shaped bodies and classicising ormolu mounts evoking the artefacts of ancient Greece.
This fine pair of table candelabra, or girandoles, is crafted from ormolu and cut glass in the Neoclassical style. Each candelabrum features a lyre-shaped body, complete with mock strings mounted with a classical mask, with each body raised atop a waisted socle above a circular integral foot. Each lyre body issues twin scrolled light branches, each branch terminating in a single candleholder and drip pan. The girandoles are profusely set with cut glass pendants and flowers.
