The cylindrical columns are shaped from veined cream marble. They have ormolu Corinthian capitals at their top, which support square marble plinths. The columns are set on square marble bases with ormolu socles with laurel wreath decorations. The pedestals are made in the Neoclassical style, emulating the grandeur of Ancient Greece and Rome.
