The ormolu (gilt bronze) photo frames are rectangular and their red velvet reverses are fitted with both ring hooks and easel stands. This means the frames can either be suspended from a wall or propped up on a flat surface.
The frames feature glazed oval centres which are edged by smooth bands. The surfaces of the frames are textured and they are decorated with rectangular stylised leaf-and-dart borders. The outlines of the frames are shaped and they are decorated with leafy C-scrolls and pierced cartouches.
