This superb lantern is wrought from lustrous polished glass and bevelled glass, demonstrating the refined nature and elegant charm of the Neoclassical style.
This beautiful lantern is wrought from polished brass and bevelled glass in the elegant Neoclassical style. The lantern features a hexagonal profile, with each of the six sides fitted with four lozenge shaped panes of bevelled glass—with a fifth, stained pane to the centre of the other four. The structure of the lantern is supported by six scrolled brackets above, all of which combine to create a corona at the crown of the lantern.
The lantern is fitted with two tiers of light fixtures, with six lights below and four lights above.
