A splendid example of French Régence style furniture, this rectangular centre table combines ornate Baroque motifs with less common forms to create a beautiful and sumptuous addition to any luxury interior. Topped with a shaped and veined white marble top, the table's frame is built from elaborately carved giltwood, and is decorated with shells, flowers and scrolls. The four cabriole legs are joined by an X-shaped stretcher, the centre of which features a vase shaped finial, from which flow four draping floral wreaths at each vertex.
