Russian Faberge style gold, nephrite and hardstone flower model

The flower model combines the most precious materials to achieve a composition harmonious in design and colour. The flower features a naturalistic stem crafted of gold, upon which are set nephrite jade leaves and white, hardstone blossoms. The model is set into a bulbous rock crystal planter, which simulates water.

Before producing the iconic Imperial Easter Eggs for the Russian monarchy, Faberge was famous for creating similarly precious items, including miniature flower models. The House of Faberge, which is still operational, is now internationally acclaimed as one of the most important jewellery firms in history.
