This elegant miniature casket is crafted from silver. The casket features an oval-shaped body finished with vertical reeding. The bottom and top of the body are mounted with rope-twist friezes, while the body is set on four feet. The hinged cover of the casket is similarly decorated and opens to reveal a velvet lined interior. The external surfaces of the casket are profusely adorned with arrangements of polychrome gemstones and white-on-black cameo portraits.
