This superb set of Canton enamel sweetmeat dishes is a fine example of early twentieth century Chinese design. The set includes nine enamel dishes: one circular dish and eight with a quadrilateral, fan-shaped form. Each dish features traditional Chinese figures in various landscape and court settings. The dishes are contained within an octagonal lacquered wood box.
