A set of four, or two closely-matching pairs, these fine decanters are beautiful antique pieces with which to serve and store spirits, and were made in England in the early part of the twentieth century.
Engraved 'Outward Bound' and 'Homeward Bound,' on each pair respectively, they bear small engraved images of galleons, with a concentric circle ribbed pattern to the bodies and a ridged base. They are virtually identical apart from the slight deviations in the length of the necks; however, this only adds to the charming, quaint, and hand-made feel and character of these delightful antique pieces.
Evocative of merchants and traders moving spirits in secret by moonlight or of a bygone nautical lifestyle and age, these fine antique glass pieces offer a wonderful way to store and serve the spirit or liqueur of your choice.
