This set of two Bohemian glass goblets is beautifully crafted from cut and incised glass. Each goblet is set on a spreading foot with a slender, shaped stem above. The faceted body of each is topped by a lid: a domed lid atop the taller of the two, and a tent lid atop the shorter, with both lids surmounted by shaped and faceted finials. The glass throughout is beautifully cut and is incised with pictorial scenes of stags within wooden landscapes—iconography evocative of the Bohemian forests. In the exceptional craftsmanship displayed, this duo is a supreme example of Bohemian glass working.
