Description

This outstanding seven-piece tea, coffee, and chocolate set is by Maison Cardeilhac, a renowned French firm specialising in Rococo-style silver tableware and cutlery.

The set is comprised of a silver coffee pot, teapot, chocolate pot, sugar bowl and a milk jug, as well as a large, silver-plated kettle with burner and a silver-plated tray with handles.

Five of the pieces include ebonised wood handles, a design feature implemented to allow for the comfortable and safe use of the pieces. Each handle is beautifully carved in organic shapes, complementing the design of the silver and silver-plated pieces.

The pieces are of bulbous forms synonymous with the Rococo style and more geometric forms have been implemented for the design of the spouts. The pieces are intricately engraved with a coat of arms, adding a personal aspect to this stunning set.
