Description

This fine silver samovar is by the German silversmiths Rossdeutscher & Reisig. The samovar features a cylindrical body set above a pierced and waisted socle over a stepped circular foot. The samovar is topped with a cover culminating in a florally pierced grill. The body of the samovar is set to the front with a tap adorned with an ivory finial, as well as twin ivory handles supported by scrolling silver brackets.

The base of the samovar is inscribed '800 ROSSDEUTSCHER & REISIG BRESLAUX' and 'Weihnachten 1932'.
