Description

Both boxes are cubic in shape, and feature similar enamelled decorations on their exteriors, in the form of floral and foliate motifs. The sugar box is hinged at the reverse and opens to reveal an interior of silver gilt. The cover of the tea caddy has a cylindrical lid and opens to a silver gilt cork lined stopper. Both pieces are stamped with gold standard marks and assayer marks for Viktor Savinkov, Moscow.
