Description

This beautiful and delicate clock, features a curved agate base on four ormolu toupie feet, which supports two round and two square agate columns. In its size it is small, though as a result comparable with jewellery. Held by the columns is a silver mount, and between the columns the circular clock dial is suspended, featuring a gilt rim and black roman numerals with gilt detailing. The dial is signed 'E. DREYFOUS, To Their Majesties, FRANCE'. Above and below the dial is foliate crafted in silver and set with precious stones. The back is inscribed 'FRANCE', and bears the serial number 165853. The clock comes with a matching travel case.
