Description

This fine tea and coffee set is by Cardeilhac, a silver tableware company founded in 1804 that specialised in producing pieces in the Rococo style.

The set is comprised of a silver coffee pot, tea pot, and milk jug—the three of which feature ebonised wood handles—a sugar pot, a large silver-plate kettle with burner, a silver-plate tray with handles, as well as a pair of silver-plate tongs by Christofle. The pieces are designed in the elegant Rococo style, with curved bodies moulded with gadrooned decoration and adorned with applied foliate designs.

All the pieces in the set are fully hallmarked.
