Regency

Regency style refers to the design of English decorative arts produced during the reign of King George IV, which lasted from the early 19th Century until 1830. The Regency style of design was inspired by the art and architecture of Classical antiquity, and adhered to a stricter interpretation of the ancient forms than the contemporaneous Neoclassical style.
