Description

The model shows Diana, crafted from silvered bronze, in mid-stride and holding her bow. She is shown standing on a square shaped plinth. It is the work of the French sculptor Paul Silvestre (1884-1976) but the model was cast by the famous Susse Freres workshop in Paris. There are inscriptions to the base reading 'Silvestre, cire perdue' and 'Susse Fes Edts Paris' and there is also the stamp for Susse Freres.
