Description

This delightful set of three solid silver duck models will make a fine addition to an antiques or silver collection. Made in the style of the famed 20th Century Italian jeweller and silversmith, Mario Buccellati, the set comprises three ducks in a range of beautifully observed, naturalistic poses. Each one has been carefully crafted with fine strips of solid silver, which have been used to create the feel of the birds' hair (around the head and neck) and feathers (around the wings and tail).

Two of the three models are shown standing, while the third is shown sitting down with its head pointed upwards. One of the standing models is shown with its wings outstretched and its beak open. The dimensions of the individual pieces are as follows:

Sitting duck: Height 17cm, width 23cm, depth 11cm
Standing duck: Height 25cm, width 17cm, depth 10cm
Wings out duck: Height 27cm width 28cm, depth 44cm
