The two decanters are crafted from clear glass which is partially covered with a white overlay, forming decorative oval medallions and shaped panels. They feature ovoid bodies which are parcel gilt with stylised leafy vines, floral motifs and swirling patterns. They are further ornamented by turquoise, navy, red and pink enamel beads which imitate jewels. The decanters are topped by panelled necks, which are finely enamelled and parcel gilt, and encircled by gilt faceted knops. The necks terminate in gilt faceted mouths which are fitted with mushroom-shaped stoppers with faceted pointed tips. These stoppers feature parcel gilt bands, scrollwork and floral designs as well as enamel beads.
While crafted in Bohemia (modern-day Czech Republic), these decanters were intended for the Persian (Iranian) market.
