One of the frames is of oval shape and the other is rectangular. Both frames are decorated with floral motifs in champleve enamel with floral decorations. The oval-shaped frame is also decorated with mythical birds. The backing and stand of each frame is crafted from ormolu. There is the retailers mark for Walery Photographie, Paris to the reverse of the frames, reading '9 BIS RUE DE LONDRES PARIS / PHOTOGRAPHIE / WALERY'.
