Description

The candelabra are supported shaped gilt bronze stems, which are set on square patinated bronze bases. These stems are finely decorated with classical acanthus leaves and fluting, and they are topped by spheres, upon which stand the figures of Amor (or Cupid). Crafted from patinated bronze, these sculptures identically depict Amor as a winged boy, stood on his tiptoes on one foot, the other kicked out behind him. In each, Amor raises both hands to support a five-light candelabrum. These gilt bronze candelabra feature scrolled, foliate branches, which terminate in drip-pans, and leafy urn-shaped capitals.

These candelabra will look beautiful fitted with candles and placed in a well-furnished interior. The light they produce will catch on their gilt surfaces, causing them to beautifully glow and sparkle.
