Made in Geneva by Vacheron Constantin, the leading Swiss watch makers, this beautiful piece, Ref. 92115 is an exceptional and unique pocket watch with eight complications, set within an 18k pink gold case.Â
Unique, large, and heavy, it is a minute-repeating, hunting-cased pocket watch, with a perpetual calendar, chronograph, register, and moon phases, displaying the date, days of the week, and month. It comes with a Certificate of Origin, dated 31 October, 2001, box-fitted, and is one of only three such examples, the only one set within pink gold.
The three-body case, with bassine et filets, features an engraved portrait of the original owner, Ali Haydar Veziroglu (b. 1/4/1946) within the interior back cover, correctors in the rounded band, and a button in the crown for stop and start, and return-to-zero functions for the chronograph. To the reverse, it features a glazed gold-rimmed cover through which to view the movement.
The movement, no. 643829, is a beautiful 36 jewels, wolf's tooth winding piece, rhodium plated, and with fausses cotes decoration. The dial is solid 18K gold with a satine silvered finish. It features painted Arabic numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds, date, days of the week, and a beautiful aperture for the moon phases, with lunar calendar on the edge.
