Comprising a hat box and a Michelin Maps & Guide case, these fine antique and vintage travel articles date to the early part of the twentieth century, and give a fascinating snapshot into English travel history and style for the interested collector.
The map case, small, slender, and in fine condition, has inside a label showing the various locations of Michelin factories across Britain. It closes with a tidy latch mechanism and bears a leather strap. The hat box, circular in shape, has a number of leather straps, and has a label for G.W.R (Great Western Railway) and Oxford, and another indistinct stamp.
