Description

Crafted in 18th Century Turkey, during the period of the Ottoman Empire, this fine ewer and basin set are made in gilt copper, which is also known as tombak.

The ewer and basin are both of typical form, and feature complimenting floral decorations all over. The underside of the basin is further decorated with ribbing in relief, as is the base section of the ewer. The ewer and basin have the following dimensions:

Ewer- Height 41cm, width 27cm, depth 17.5cm
Basin- Height 15cm, diameter 43cm
