French Sculpture

French sculpture demonstrates one of the richest and broadest heritages of all forms of art. In modern European history, Italian sculpture flourished first, reaching its zenith during the periods of the Renaissance and the Baroque; French sculpture thrived next, culminating during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, when the Rococo and Neoclassical styles dominated European decorative art.
