Description

The table is supported on three scrolling legs, which feature large, expressive carvings of wild cats, monkeys and birds. On these legs rests the baluster-shaped stem of the table, which is intricately carved with leafy vines. This supports the circular table top above, which is ringed by an undulating skirt, decorated with pierced foliate carving.

On its top, the table has a rosewood inset polished centre, which is bordered by low-relief carvings of monkeys, elephants and birds, accompanied by trees, mountains and buildings. This is edged with a raised, pierced gallery.

This table is an exquisite piece of wood carving, which will add visual intrigue to an interior.
