Description

This elegant chandelier is crafted from glass and ormolu (gilt bronze). Its design encompasses the elegance and opulence of the French Empire style popular during Napoleon I’s reign.

The frame of the chandelier is beautifully cast from ormolu, and the top ring depicts the popular laurel leaf pattern. Hanging from it is a collection of chains made from delicate glass beads. Most are hanging vertically, while some are hanging horizontally adding a visually interesting feature to the design of this superb chandelier. The piece terminates with an ormolu finial.
