Description

The table features a mahogany stem which is set on a triform mahogany base with scrolled terminals. The stem features a cylindrical neck and a bulbous gadrooned middle, which tapers to terminate in a shaped circular foot. This stem supports a circular mahogany top which is covered with white marble. The marble features a finely carved outer band, depicting curling vines, stylised leaves and clusters of grapes. The centre of the top is also decorated with a medallion which is carved with a tree, visited by a pair of butterflies and birds.
