This elegant porcelain cabinet plate, by the celebrated Royal Vienna Porcelain Manufactory, portrays a pair of elegant ladies admiring a crane in a lakeside setting.
This fine Royal Vienna porcelain cabinet plate features a central circular roundel painted with a scene of two elegantly dressed ladies in a lakeside setting, both of whom look towards a crane. The rim of the plate features tooled parcel gilding above a green porcelain ground.
The painted scene to the front of the plate is signed ‘C. Forster’, while the reverse features the beehive mark of Royal Vienna.
