Showcasing nature’s capabilities and highlighting natural beauty, the various rock specimens can be used and displayed in numerous ways in an interior.
The fine collection of rock specimens consists of three slabs of various sizes and shapes. Each one is of the natural shape.
The largest example is of a blue agate. The concentric round shapes are coloured by nature in numerous shades of blue and brown. Their formation is superb, and its simplicity adds an elegant look to the piece.
The medium-shaped slab is of another type of agate. The centre is intricately patterned by nature with numerous shapes of different sizes. All are coloured in beige tones, extending into greyish blue colouration predominating the rest of the slab. The outer edge has a rougher texture.
The smallest example is petrified wood (also known as petrified tree). This is an extraordinary and unusual piece created by nature. It is a type of fossilized wood and forms when minerals enter the cavities between and within cells of wood. The fossil has the appearance of a tree bark with dark shades of brown as well as red predominating, and only under closer inspection one starts to notice fossil properties.
Agate is believed to carry grounding and calming energy and its presence encourages reflection, while petrified wood is a stone of transformation.
The rock specimens can be used as decorative pieces, or one can display other valuables on top of them.
