This beautiful gold bracelet contains a series of miniature landscapes painted on enamel, each view evocative of the beauty and grandeur of the Swiss Alps.
This gold and enamel bracelet is formed of seven graduated oval landscape miniatures, each held within a yellow gold mount. The miniatures depict individual views of Lake Geneva with a distant Mont Blanc and the city of Geneva, Chillon Castle and Dents du Midi, Savoy, Valais, and further mountain scenes characteristic of the Swiss Alpine landscape. The back of each miniature contains counter enamel in a variety of colours. The reverse of one miniature is painted with the inscription ‘Chateland’.
