The intricately decorated sword originates from the Austria-Hungary region, and was made for the Turkish market. The silver-gilt handle and scabbard are engraved with Islamic style arabesque decoration, and the sword is set within a fitted red velvet lined wooden case.
The silver is stamped '925' for Sterling silver, and marked 'H. K.'
