This impressive ormolu and glass lantern is crafted in the ornate Baroque style. The lantern features five glazed sides, each piece of plate glass contained within an ormolu frame. The lower edge of the lantern is mounted with ormolu scrolled brackets, while the upper section is set with winged horse Pegasus mounts. The top edge of each arched side of the lantern is surmounted by a scrolled crown, and the entire structure is suspended from an ornately formed bracket.
