This fine table mirror is crafted from giltwood. The mirror is constructed as a triptych, with the two folding doors opening to reveal a central mirrored panel; moreover, the interiors of both doors are mirrored, doubling the overall surface of the mirror once opened. The mirror is raised on two legs, each terminating in twin paw feet, and is topped by an elaborate carved giltwood crown comprised of two cherubs—one playing a lyre, the other a flute—seated atop splayed acanthus leaves.
