Description

The plaque depicts an armoured knight in an architectural interior, holding the handle of his sword with his right hand as if about to unsheath it from its scabbard. The plaque is indistinctly signed to the lower right and set within a rectangular ormolu frame. The top of the frame is mounted with floral garlands and surmounted by foliate scrolls and a laurel wreath.
