This superb Dresden porcelain dessert service is comprised of seven flat plates and five presentation plates raised on four feet, of which one is larger. The centres of the plates are delicately painted with seventeenth-century style horseback battle scenes, surrounded by dark blue pierced borders with parcel gilt decorations.
