Large antique engraved Bohemian glass goblet

This fine Bohemian glass goblet is crafted entirely of lustrous, ruby-coloured stained glass and is a true masterwork of design and quality. The goblet is of typical form, and is masterfully cut with fluting and petal-work all over, which enhances the varied tones of the stained glass. The tapering central body of the goblet is engraved all around with stags and cattle in a landscape setting the tapering goblet body decorated with stags and deer in a landscape setting on red stained glass ground, and above the cove is further engraved with elegant, scrolling arabesques and foliate motifs.
