Crafted in the splendid Louis XV style, this gilt bronze mounted and parquetry centre table was made in France in the 19th Century. The top is replete with a central floral design, and is encased by an ormolu rim. This in turn leads to four cabriole legs, and the edge of the table's frame is decorated with various arcing floral ormolu embellishments. Four curved beams join the legs and meet in the centre. An excellent piece, this fine table is exemplary of this rich and elegant style.
