This beautiful centrepiece bowl, wrought in the form of a lion, is crafted from the finest of materials, including gilt sterling silver, nephrite, and white diamonds.
The centrepiece—as much an objet d’art as it is a functional piece of tableware—features a beautifull carved nephrite bowl supported atop the back of a crouching lion. The lion, formed from gilt sterling silver, is naturalistically formed: its low-slung gait and fierce expression being superbly rendered from the silver-gilt. The lion’s eyes are finished with single diamonds, while its nose is studded with several more.
