The side table is a fine example of 19th century Renaissance Revivalism. The table features a rectangular green onyx top encompassed by an ormolu frame, which is adorned with polychrome champlevé enamel work. The top is supported by twin onyx columns, each with an ormolu capital, base, and central band. The columns spring from a stepped green onyx base, which is raised by four ormolu paw feet.
