The coffee table is of rectangular form and crafted in wood and ormolu (gilt-bronze). The tabletop is decorated to the centre with a classical marquetry design depicting a six-sided shape with a central roundel, and with fleur-de-lys shapes issuing from the outer-most points. The tabletop is edged with a geometrically pierced ormolu gallery. Each of the four sides of the table are centrally mounted with ormolu bows and laurel leaves, and feature an inlaid frieze of ebonised frames. The four corners of the table are mounted with ormolu female busts, from which the square-form, tapered table legs protrude. The table legs are inlaid to the outer side with a marquetry leaf design, and each finish in a pair of human, ormolu feet.
